Considering that his father is "eternal leader of North Korea" what if his son went all the way to God-Emperor which make him a God-Emperor on his death presumably.
Straight-up calling his father a god-emperor is unrealistic, but something like claiming that Kim Jong-Il and Kim Il-Sung will still guide North Korea from beyond the grave, and that all must ask for their guidance, could actually be pulled off. The rest of the world would probably realize that North Korea has become a theocracy.

I wouldn't be surprised. Though I think his grandfather rather then father would get that title.Considering that his father is "eternal leader of North Korea" what if his son went all the way to God-Emperor which make him a God-Emperor on his death presumably.

I personally wouldn't be shocked.
I don't think it would do much to change the opinion of North Korea one way or the other for most outsiders.
North Korea is unique in having a dead man as head of state: Kim Jong-Il is the head of the party and the army but the presidency is held in perpetuity by his deceased father, which makes the country a necrocracy or mausolocracy as well as a regime that is only one figure short of a Trinity.
Well, it's already been called a necrocracy by Christopher Hitchens.
Though I suppose we have a Trinity there now.
Although if Kim Il Sung is God-Emperor who are 16-18 unlucky people who are the Primarchs
Kim Il-Sung is declared God-Emperor, China is declared to be inhabited by Orks. China is offended, decides that it's finally time to put North Korea out of its misery.![]()
