Kennedy Lives (Collaborative TL)

I'm currently running another collaborative timeline on the site that concerns a Bush Sr. presidency in the 1980s. I thought it would be interesting to rewind 20 years even further and cover an ATL 1960s where JFK survives the day in Dallas.

November 22nd, 1963: President Kennedy arrives in Dallas. The weather is damp, rainy and unpleasant, so Kennedy's motorcade has a bubble dome put onto it to protect him from the rain. At approximately 12:53 CST, Kennedy is shot in the shoulder by an unknown assailant. Immediately, Kennedy is rushed to Parkland Hospital, where he goes into surgery. Much to the relief of everyone in America, Kennedy survives the wound and will be discharged from the hospital in 5 days.

November 28th 1963: Vice President Johnson is caught in a phone conversation saying you know that shooter did a terrible job. I should be the one in the Oval Office now.

OOC: I don't think that would work, seems kinda like a conspiracy theory and it makes Johnson out to be completely power hungry.

November 30th 1963: Hearing the news Nikita Khruschev, sends his regards to Kennedy for a quick recovery.

1964? Damn, Khruschev took a while before responding to the assassination.

April 17th, 1964: First Lady Jaqueline Kennedy announces that she is expecting another child. (At this time she's about 20 weeks pregnant.)

I decided that it's impossible to balance two Collaborative timelines at the same time. This one's going to be put on hold, while I will continue to contribute to the Bush 1980 TL.
