Kennedy dynasty really ruling without the assassinations?

Once again I had an AH-related topic with an acquaintance, but this time it's another guy and it wasn't me to kick-start the topic.

We talked about the fact that the US presidency will have been held by two families for 20 years by 2009. And that this is the reason why he rather dislikes a Rodham Clinton presidency. Then he continued the switch-play: First Hillary, then Jeb, then even Chelsea? And then he added the comment that the JFK assassination was a benevolent deed in the sense that it averted a series of Kennedy presidents resembling OTL Bush and prospective Clinton lines.

My question to you: Do you really think that Kennedy-bukkake could have happened? And how would a best-case-scenario from a Kennedy perspective have looked like?

I don't believe he would be as loved without the assassinations. A lot of sympathy and some mystique went into making the remaining Kennedys' careers.....

In my estimation the JFK's survival surely would've meant a lesser Vietnam war. He didn't want to send in the advisers at all and was reluctant to allow US forces on the ground on asian soil. I believe, had he not been killed, he would've eventually pulled out the advisers instead of sending more troops in, thereby circumventing the Vietnam conflict altogether.

As for the rest of his reign, who knows. He might've had a hand in a smoother transition with the Civil Rights movement but on the other hand, he might've escalated tensions with the USSR as well. The cold war might have gotten very hot with some nukes dropped on Moscow, St. Pete, and Havana Cuba with JFK at the helm.

Esquire magazine in 1963 said that 1968 election is between RFK and Nelson Rockefeller.Without Vietnam, and with JFK's tax cut is probable that RFK win.

So...
JFK 1961-1969
RFK 1969-1977
Ted Kennedy 1977-1985

Perhaps in 1985 Bush Senior could get elected and serve two terms, thus moving smoothly into the alternating Bush-Clinton dynasty you were predicting for the future.
