He almost did after the bribery scandals. What next?

not much, this was in '76 only thing that might get delayed is the F-117 stealth plane. But considering how big a name Kelly Johnson had it might cause the collapse of the company though because investors loose trust in them.

More publicity for the scandals and fewer cover-ups and more heads rolling in Europe. I would very much hope.....

A year or so ago, I read "The Lockheed Story" by noted historian Walter J. Boyne. I seem to recall pages and pages of how the Lockheed L-1011 endangered the company's fiscal position, but hardly a mention of the bribery scandal. I didn't gain any more respect for the Lockheed company, but I lost a bit for noted historians.
