Would the Hatfield's and the McCoy's take opposing sides in the Second American Civil War?

Entante and Reichspakt beat second internationale and natpop russia(russia ceasefired, france and britan unconditonal surrender) starts 1948, right after UOB surrenders.
An Entente and Second Internationale alliance against the Reichspakt is much more likely because Germans would be the bogyman of both Entente and the Internationale and which ever side one in an Entente-International conflict would be in mortal danger from the Reichspakt.

That would be the case... if the Internationale had not been the reason why the Entente is an Empire-In-Exile Club.

Furthermore, the Entente (unless it declares war on Germany) is not necessarily in mortal danger from the Reichspakt, while it is if the International wins. If the Reichspakt is victorious, the worst that can happen is that the Status Quo remains and the chances of RESTORING THE BIRTHRIGHT become even more unlikely. Instead, if the Internationale prevails, the Entente is definitely next. While the Kaiser would simply settle for Germany being a superpower and is even willing to give a little place to the countries of the Entente in the New Order as long as they recognize German superiority (See, for example, the offer to National France to give them back the Mainland and return to Paris, in exchange for renouncing the Entente and Alsace-Lorraine, once the Reich crushes the Commune), the Syndies consider that the liberation of Europe is only one phase of the World Revolution. An Internationale victory means that RESTORING THE BIRTHRIGHT is almost impossible, and will require a world war that, unless the USA is a member of the Entente, they will never win. And this is without mentioning the direct and indirect plans that the Internationale will hatch against the Entente to export the Revolution, even if the countries that integrate it are following a policy of "Socialism in one country continent".

Except that an alliance between the Entente and the Second Internationale is almost impossible lore-wise. For the simple reason that they are mirror images of each other, created as a result of huge civil wars/revolutions that happened in their countries.

Asking the Union of Britain and Canada to work together is almost impossible: both considers themselves to be the legitimate government of the British Isles and have no desire to cede their right to the other. Same with the Commune and National France: both consider themselves to be the legitimate government of the mainland and have absolutely no wish to let the other take its place.

The only way for the Entente and Internationale to work together would be if there somehow was a possibility for them to peacefully resolve their conflict. Like having moderates take over on both sides and try to negotiate a compromise with the other side. The issue is that in practice this would probably mean fusing the two factions because I don't see how a compromise between the Internationale and the Entente wouldn't result in a unified government in both France and Britain. For example, if it was possible for the UoB to call back the King BUT he has to acknowledge the legacy of the revolution. In France, it would probably be a Republican Restoration BUT with stronger worker rights.

And even acknowledging that, that would still require an extremely narrow scenario because only the Entente picking its most left-wing options and the Internationale its most-right wing option would make this feasible. Hard to imagine the Action Française collaborate with the Jacobins for example... King Eddie the Fascist working with Mosley would seem possible in an alternate reality, but here the fact they'd basically be competing for the same seat prevents that in Kaiserreich.

Finally, gameplay-wise it's probably a question of balance to keep the Internationale and Entente at war. If it was possible for the two to cooperate, you'd either need Germany to be a bit OP (something which is already an issue) or you would create an OP alliance this way. Think of the reason why the Devs have eventually renounced to the possibility of avoiding the American Civil War: it essentially made the US way too powerful.

I'd also discuss the Reichspakt being a mortal danger for the Entente and Internationale. Both have gripes against it, but it's probably easier for the Reichspakt to pick a side in their conflict and maintain good relations than to annihilate both. The Entente would probably safer because it's basically the old world the Reichspakt is more used to: the Kaiser and the King are cousins, and even if the French are troublesome at least the Nationalist ones are closer to the politics the Reich is used to. Doesn't help also that the Internationale's primary objective at the start seems to aim for a war with Germany, especially in the Commune.

I'm really happy with the promissed changes to Russia, not only is the route being improved and getting more realistic, but also some factors of the original KR legacy such as the transiberian railway attack that had been removed are now back on a more realistic tone

Also, Kyrill Romanov will live more, I asked the team on the Github why he has to be crowned if he dies in less than a year, proposing it would make more sense for his son to be crowned and a sickly Kyrill watch the cerimony, but turns out that they replied that he died due a condition he contracted suddently in France and as such he can live much longer

Currently playing as Transamur I swapped to social Conservative *cringes* democracy after Kolchak's death and have two armies so far and quite a lot of manpower owing to focus trees and agitation efforts in Siberia.

I also decided not to invade Russia during the Second Civil War, which was won by the Socialists, my reasoning being if I had my tiny army would have been smashed to pieces. If I am to destroy the Socialists, should I invade Russia if they intervene in the Second Weltkrieg or will they attack first?

Would anyone happen to know a good world or US map to use as a starting point for a board game? I've found this: https://i.redd.it/e8jnzw4642u01.png which is alright for the Americas I guess, but a bit too complex for Europe. I could work on it with paint a bit to reduce the number of regions, but it would be pretty ugly.

I'm curious, is there a link to a statement or something saying this?

I've seen it mentioned by the devs on reddit a few times, but I currently can't find anything. The lore on the wiki might have already been updated, but I'm not sure.

well yes, but according to my friend the UoB isn't explicitly syndicalist at game start in the rework

The way I understand it, it's flawed syndicalism with a few people near the top, such as Mosley, corrupting it. I would guess that the in-game ideology would still be syndicalism though.
