I watched a documentary about "Big" Jim Folson, and there was a mention that the democratic party defeated wallace nomination as the VP, something that Olson supported.
If I understood that correctly, most of the blame should go to the party itself, not Truman.

What’s going on with Kaiserredux and DH makes me want to break the silence.
In short, I was racially abused and almost doxxed on the DH server, which is apparently ok with racial slurs, and called the n-word by a KX dev. In general I’ve found most of them to be rather unpleasant.
Thank you to all of you guys on the Coop. Thanks to Xorn, and to Gukpard for being one of the few pleasant DH devs I’ve spoken to.

Good God, this is terrible. There is anything we can do make more people know what they did to you?
It's terrible to hear that there are people out there who have such beliefs, but it's encouraging that you've solved the problem. I hope everything is alright now.
I'll be blunt. DH and Kaiserredux are both made by individuals who are angry that KR is getting rid of a lot of memes and edgy content, and they are great rebels for rebelling against the KR devs for ruining everything. Both suffer frequent coups and are therefore not as capable as they believe themselves to be.

As such, Keynes may have found favour with him through loyalty during the coup.
That's basically what they think; KR is being ruined with all the reworks and the devs are joyless fun-suckers, and they can do better. Note that they really enjoy working on expanding most of the edgiest paths available in KR. They also like to throw historical plausibility to the wind; KX is where the HP Lovecraft in New England thing came from, IIRC, and either DH or KX has a path where Valois can guillotine enemies of the state in the streets for several focuses.

A tale as old as time itself. We once had to deal with a guy who went completely off the rails (the "I'll make my OWN Kaiserreich, with blackjack and hookers" kind of thing) because we didn't want to make it possible for Sun Li-Jen to crown himself as a neo-Ming emperor.
