Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg

I'd still say to add a path that allows the US to avoid a civil war. Half the appeal of the US is to sit there and build up while watching the rest of the world burn. I don't get forcing the player down a war that ultimately puts them behind every major power. Doesn't help that the war can drag on for years and cleaning up post war is even less fun since you can only eliminate rebels in each state one at a time due to the amount of PP needed.

Agree. And whole Secon American Civil War is not even very realistic idea anyway. Yes, Kaiserreich is not anyway but still I ratherly would avoid that.

And couple other major changes on canon what I would do would are letting Soviets win Russian Civil War and not balkanise Italy.

Since I have been wondering how to do a contemporary Brazilian timeline , I tried KR again :

The speculation of this timeline is the Entente and the Accord have an extremely well performance from 1936 to 1944/5 and the GEACPS with Japan does that as well but gets battered in a 2nd Russo-Japanese war but still holds on.

Still positively impressed by the KR dev team thinking that there would be Armenians in a divided Armenia.

Then you want a game other than Kaiserreich. The US is simply too strong that you either need to force it to stay isolated (boring and implausible) or it becomes an guarantee win card for whichever faction it joins, most plausibly the Entente.

A victorious Germany intervening to stop the Soviets is probably the most plausible bit of the scenario and I agree with you re Italy.

I have to disagree. As I understand it the Germans and Soviets were sometimes pragmatic collaborators, while the Whites were fanatically anti-German to a self-defeating degree.

That said the White victory should still be kept, it's not Kaiserreich without it, and you can justify a White victory without a German intervention.

I'd axe the Papal States and Two Sicilies, giving their lands to the SRI, but leave the Republic as an Austrian puppet and Sardinia as Savoyard Taiwan.

Also on the subject of a Kaiserreich Italy wishlist, I'd make the ANI not anti-Austria anymore. I know fascists aren't known for making incredibly sound strategic decisions, but blowing up relations with the only power backing you up against the syndie revanchists for the sake of Trieste and a slice of the Alps is a whole new ballpark of stupid.

They should be like the tsarists in Chita TNO where they would milky Austria just like Chita milks Japan and as soon they unify their country they would move to backstab their former friend.

What is your favourite KR China outcome? Mine is democratic YCP since they have the urban modernist ethos that I like.

Federalist China all the way!
"Dear Nationalists. You say you advocate Minquan as one of the Three Principles of the People yet set up a one-party dictatorship using political tutelage as an excuse instead of implementing it immediately. Curious."

-Chen Jiongming, Founder of Turning Point United Provinces of China

"How do we deal with the officer corps of our vanquished Japanese enemy?"

Qing/Feds/R-KMT: "Well, they might be useful in the future once the Japanese know their place as our junior partner." (though admittedly this is due to their Japanese puppet having the same focus tree as all other non-socialist puppet Japans)
L-KMT: Pulls out a machine gun and starts firing

If Japan's conduct in China is anything like OTL's? Deserved.

Speaking of which, honestly, non-socialist Chinas should have their unique focus tree for when they conquer China with that in mind (not suggesting that they go the extra mile for separate focus trees for each of the main non-socialist paths, but a generic tree for a non-socialist China, be it Qing/Beiyang/Feds/R-KMT, occupying Japan would do).
