@Worffan101 do you still dislike canada now?

So, @Hindustani Person showed me a kaiserreich cold war mod, and they did a very fine interpretation of Vargas, we are in 1956 and he's still in power (I find that unlikely since he planned to democratize around the time he did OTL), I gonna write some comments as a spoiler, I hope you like it as I did

lpevLPs-744.jpg

He's building Brasilia, the new capital, faster than OTL since he's Vargas not Kubitschek, and this with him being tired and older than otl

Brazil is already on the same level as canada (in OTL we had passed it at this point on many areas, not on living standart sadly, but this Canada is stronger so it makes sense), and you have to deal with the imported canadians good policy

Then, time to open up things, the idea of the New State was to reorganize Brazil and this process was done like in 1945, so there is no need for a dictatorship, never again

It's a free election according to the progress report. thing of the argentinian 1946 election as a example of a dictatorship that lifted the restrictions

BJvDAKcS4J4.jpg

The candidates
João Goulart, OTL Vargas sucessor, let wing getulist
JK, center right getulist, built Brazilia OTL, made the 50 years in 5 plan
Tancredo Neves, "centrist" Vargas faction, jurist, fought against the 1961 military coup attempt, the military dictatorship, first president after the democratisation in 1985
Frederico Carlos Lacerda, former communist turned into far rightist, main figure of the brazilian conservatism at the time

Somehow they shoved Speer there, but who cares?

Which mod is that?

Always wondered why are the syndies very pro woman, it effectively a large part of there idnetity that woman are completely equal and in some cases more progressive than today as seen casual use and allowing woman to be front line troops.

From what i read about syndicalism its a more trade union socialist belief. Where did rapid belief in equality come from?
Good question. Some far-left movements at the time had begun to intertwine themselves with social progressivism at this time but far from all of them.

I'm not an authority on Syndicalism but it probably has something to do with women's prominent role in the workforce during the First World War, on the heels of which the major Syndicalist powers emerged. It's a bit hard to unite all the workers while excluding a good 20-30% of them.

Syndicalism and revolutionary socialism have historically been and continue to be very socially progressive, as it would be philosophically contradictory for an economically egalitarian ideology to not apply said egalitarianism to social issues as well. This was especially prominent within revolutionary unionism, with gender and racial equality often being promoted by early unions. This also lines up well with the syndicalist movements that KR chooses to make successful. The IWW, for example, was very supportive of overcoming gender and racial inequality and encouraged solidarity with these groups.

You know how France has the native rebellions? Am I the only one who wants Canada to have a rebellion if the Union of Britain isn't defeated by 1944? The Canadians becoming fed up with so many of their men dying in a far-off war?

A Québécois uprising could be interesting....but it should only be possible if Canada goes out and out authoritarian and uses the War Measures Act.

You could also have a “FLQ insurgency“ national spirit if you choose to go down the ”Suppress the Québécois“ path or the War Measures one, with occasional sabotage events similar to what Russia has.

Can people please stop just posting random things from the subreddit? If there is something legitimate to discuss, that's one thing. But the fact of the matter is if we were interested in every piece of artwork on the subreddit, we would be on the subreddit.
Please stop. You're filling up the thread with low quality posts that distract from actual discussion.

What is your headcanon for how Kaiserreich turns out?
Going roughly by continents with general followed by Weltkreig II stuff. I'll admit I'm a big fan of the Entente so bias is definitely a factor here.

North America

Torries win election in Canada thanks to exile and royal support pushing them over the edge.
United States Elects Floyd B. Olson and the National Unity Party Negociations fail and a three way civil war breaks out. The war ends relatively quickly thanks to Entente intervention in the war and federal naval superiority. Entente intervene in exchange for American support in terms of arms and industry for future campaigns.
Mexico maintains a syndicalist government and nationalizes oil, eventually joins third Internationale
Panama seizes the canal but is invaded by Canada and Costa Rica joining the Entente
Central American wars eventually end with Nicaragua and the other socialist Central American countries forming CentroAmerica Union

South America

Vargas wins the elections in Brazil and then begins to centralize and then enacts the Estado Novo
Carles consolidates power in Argentina but is kept in check by the GOU preventing major expansion after Argentina wins the Patagonia War against Chilie and Patagonia.
Venezuela takes it easy and makes money selling oil to highest bidders.
Paraguay attempts to attack Argentina but is attacked by Bolivia.
Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador remain mostly quiet and try to deal with the fallout of Black Monday

Europe

Russia goes with Savinkov after Kernesky's death and goes expansionist taking over Central Asia and the Don Kuban Union before getting Oil from Azerbaijan.
Ukraine goes down the Coalition with the nationalists path
Germany keeps with the auth demo party.
Swiss give up their part of Savoy
Netherlands remains neutral.
Norway goes 3I while Sweden goes Germany
Denmark does that thing where they join Germany for a hot second, then flip back but get invaded for their trouble. Iceland and Greenland move into the Entente Orbit because of this.
Ireland Joins entente, Canada agrees to leave Ulster alone after the war.
France Election Gridlock
Britain elects Mosely
SRI elects orthodox Syndicalists
Austria goes Status Quo and rules a highly decentralized Empire
Italian Republic is shaken by ANI and the federation is needed to reform.
Social Conservatives say in power in Two Sicilies
Sardinia take democratic path.
Belgium revolts for independence but stays in German Sphere with the Treaty of Arlon.
Baltic Duchy puts down baltic revolt.
Lithuana eventually revolts, is crushed
Belarus joins Russian Sphere

Bulgaria loses Balkan War, eventually joins Russian Alliance
Iron Guard stays in power in Romania eventually joins Russian Alliance
Serbia crowns King then joins Russian Alliance
Greece Restores monarchy and then joins Entente

Africa

National France Restores Bonaparte Dynasty and goes for the De Gaulle Plan. Native Uprisings occur but do not manage to unseat the nation.
Mittleafrica is crazy but Gorring eventually is outlasted by one of the reformgroups. Eventually the place will be forced to disolve either way though.
Portugal loses some territory in the Bush War.
South Africa is eventually claimed over by the Dominionists who win the civil war with Entente Help.
Ethiopia puts down the Revolt in Eritrea.

Asia

Ottomans win the Cairo Pact War as their armies are still the highest quality between them and their rivals.
Thanks to American industrial support the Entente is able to militarily secure the Indian Subcontinent and Burma

Siam gets a new constitution and then joins Co-Prosperity Sphere.
Philipnnes democratic and then joins CPS
Indonesia remains dutch
Australia remains democratic and eventually purges the Australian Guard. Conscrption debate eventually leads to New Zeeland independence

Japan goes down military centrism path and maintains control over transaamur.
Manchu Coup Qing eventually defeats the other Chinese factions and later Japan in a brutal war for the fate of Asia. Japan still takes Guam and maintains economic ties with the other asian nations.
Legation cities taken over by Qing China.

This is a lot but there's more I have, maybe I'll get to them later.
