I think I found a plausible POD
from the 12th up until the 15th century the welsh language more commonly used K where they now use C to represent /k/ Have this continue, and not only that, find a way for the Tudors to have more pride for their Welsh heritage than OTL to spread the influence of K over to English...
And perhaps you could find a way for Henry VIII to discourage "Hard" C in the English language and only use it in Latin...
EDIT: also prevent This Guy from giving in to English printers, who didn't have enough casings for K and instead just take longer to translate his Welsh Bible.
