John F. Kennedy in 1988

What if 71 year old JFK pulls a Reagan (well today there are even older frontrunners in their 70es) is elected in 1988 instead in 1960 and stays in office until 1993 ? (That would be kind of Nixon´s career, but a much grater distance) Maybe Joseph Junior survives and predates him as president in the 1960es.

Sorry, but I can't see this happening, even if Kennedy was not killed, I can see him dying in the late 70's-1980s

Agree with previous. JFK's Addison's would make him end on 1970's. And even without the disease JFK's political career probably would have ended by 1988 due some mistress related scandal.

I think it would be better in 1980 instead of 1988 if it is to be a "Reagan Democrat" , and is the question of the legacy of Joseph Kennedy Junior as US President in 1960 , he would be assassinated like JFK in OTL or not? .

Kennedy could live into his 70s, which would be the 1980s. His Addison's and Celiac were under control. However, I doubt he would make the effort. He won't be a spring chicken. Even Reagan wasn't. His ailments are not terminal, but they can take their toll.
