If she becomes a nun, what would be the consequences of it, would she still be an inspiration to the french?
Eh... what? Before she had her vision, she was just another French peasant. Why would she become a nun?

To gain more recognition, I just think she could be a nun and do saintly work inspiring the other French and be declared a saint.
So, in order to gain fame, she would become a nun and live her days out in a quiet little convent where she would have absolutely no influence and no ability to lead anything?![]()
I was actually thinking of her being a nun transferred to Rome and supporting the Pope against the heretics and later declared a saint..

Against what heretics? Why would she go to Rome? Why would the support of a French nun make any difference?
Because of her visions she tries to support the Pope against the Hussites and other heretics and the Schismatics and she will support Rene of Naples and Charles the Dauphin as well.
I can't see that scenario happening, but I can see the possibility of Joan surviving and later becoming a nun, even a famous one (maybe an early Florence Nightingale-esque figure, going out and helping the soldiers?).
That is what I am looking for exactly.
Perhaps, being a nun will not work for her...I think being a Pope's concubine might make her more influential...but that will give her a reputation different in 180° than her OTL reputation.OK.... so MM's scenario happens and it has minimal impact on history.
