JFK Killed On His Visit To Ireland In June '63?

The world's most famous Irish man President Obama recently visited his ancestoral home in Moneygall Co. Offaly- Co. Tipperary border in search of his long lost apostrophy! He also gave a rousing speech outside the old parliament building in Dublin including a gaelic phrase, 'Is Feidir Linn!' which has become the new national catchphrase. It means of course 'Yes, We Can!'
In 1963, president JFK came to his ancestoral land and spent 4 days here, including visting his ancestoral home place - New Ross in County Wexford, he also spoke to the joint houses of the oireachtas, the irish dual chambered parliament and made a particularily memorable vist to Galway, the San Francisco of Ireland. However, given that Ireland at the time was very conservatively catholic, his talent spotters who were said to procure willing ladies for him at the events he spoke at, would have had a virtually impossible task. Actually it was part of his European trip which included his Doughnut moment in Berlin. It's said Ireland was for him the main focus of his trip and that he had to add on Germany to justify it. He promised to return in the Springtime which of course for him never came!
Of course unlike Obama's visit there was a marked lack of security, what if JFK had been assainated while he was here rather than a few months down the road? Would the timing have made any difference?
For those of you interested in the visit there's a specific book on it 'JFK In Ireland' written by Ryan Tubridy , the Irish equivalent of Conan O'Brien who is Irish himself in a sense.

One recent documentary suggested that there was an aborted attempt before Dallas, can't remember the exact details though! If he had been killed in Ireland there would have been no Govenour Connolly by his side!

Interesting concept. But who would kill him, and why? The identity of the perpetrator would be very important to the butterflies that ensue.

For US internal politics, the changes would not be that great. Internationally, it is a different story. In any case, there will not be the Warren Report as we know it. The Garrison conspiracy theory and all the economic activity it produced (books, movies) will be butterflied away.

There could instead by a different, equally ridiculous conspiracy theory put forward, depending on the circumstances.
