Its always pissed me off that Israel drags its feet to admit Indian jews. For a country that is always clamoring for the jews of the world to emigrate, it strikes me as almost racist their attitude to delaying the emmigration of these people. Only thing to prevent me from calling them racist is the rescue of the Ethiopian jews 20 years ago. It really strikes me as odd. Besides, Israel can always use additional jews to outweigh the muslim population.

It strikes me that anyone who claims and practices the jewish faith should be automatically granted admission to Israel.

This is one jew who believes these people deserve to be given admission to Israel as soon as possible.

The Torah definately and blatantly bans consumption of blood... that would be a major problem to overcome, I'd say.

Yeah, thats like saying americans discriminate or the french or english discriminate against their african populations. Im sure it happens, but it is clearly not state policy to do so.

In fact, Israel has tried very hard to integrate the Ethiopian population into mainstream Israeli society. They overall havent done a horrible job considering that most ethiopian jews lived in a lifestyle barely above hunter-gatherers back in ethiopia.

That's some isolated Indian Jews called Beit Menashe. There are very few Ethiopian Jews left in Ethiopia, and most of them were evacuated in the 1980s by Israel, with help from the US in Operation "Moses" and Operation "Solomon".

The airlift of almost the entire Ethiopian jewish population in the 80's was a truly awe inspiring moment in history. It was truly like something out of a movie.

They don't attack the mideast or china and focus their resources into destroying traditionally anti-semetic europe. In this TL, Christendom is crushed between the sword of islam and the dreidal of judaism.

The Mongols are pragmatists. They would see their own glory, and then threaten Europe if it mistreated it's semitic communities. Besides, look who gets all the oil:p

Conversion to Judaism would not make the Mongols Semites any more than it did the Iranians or Turks.
