Verse I

On 1660 the Dutch would rally their allies in Luzon or Saludong including their own Pampanger allies and the Pagans and due to the Strengthening of the revolt the Dutch would strengthen their hold in Saludong or Luzon

On 1661 Maniago-Almazan-Malong and Dutch alliance along with the pagans would create an alliance with the southern sultanate of Maguindanao under the rule of Sultan Kudarat which would the Spanish to actually panic against the alliance and the Pagans would show their alliance with the Dutch and would support the Dutch in the liberation of the coastal of Saludong and the Dutch would send their allies in the south such as the Javanese as their troops.

On 1662, Koxinga would demand the Spanish to pay tribute or they would attack Manila and the Spanish would give him the tributes so that he will act to help the Spanish against them and this would cause the Spanish to act against the Dutch sympathizers and the rebels allied with Dutch as well as the Pagans.

The Spanish killed and expelled the Chinese in manila due to Koxinga’s planned attack and it would enrage him to conquer Manila which he does which would be one of the things that would make the Dutch stronger against the Spanish and the Macabebe scouts would show their real nature as Dutch allies and kick the Spanish from Macabebe.

However, whatever the Spanish will do the Spanish are lost and are also faced in maintaining their own bases in Mindanao.

Due to the support and the strength of the revolt the Spanish rule in Coasts of Saludong would go to the Dutch and the Pagans since the population already has sympathized with the Dutch except for the Iloco population who have some loyalty with the Spanish, the Dutch would completely abandon Formosa in favor of Saludong which sits in the old Malay-Ryukyu trade.

note:
I am sorry to tell you Northern Luzon has no chinese population at this point in time, however its nobility are under dutch influence at this point and some lands are under spanish occupation so in this TL koxinga is just used as a catalyst for them to liberate their lands.

Verse 2
Verse 2

The Visayan troops that would help the Spanish against the Dutch would mutiny against the Spanish in one ship, citing that the Spanish only cared about the trade for Manila and not what they promised aid against the muslims and one clairvoyant saw that the people of the north will conquer the visayans if they help the Spanish, this would affect the future of the Spanish East Indies, the Spanish would try to attack the Dutch held Luzon but it would be too late as the Dutch have solidified their hold on Saludong.

The Spanish would decide to maintain what they have in Mindanao and Ternate as well as Visayas after completely losing Saludong.

The Spanish would realize that Saludong is no longer valuable to the Portuguese and Spanish since Japan has closed to the westerners except for the Dutch and the Spanish would decide that they would retain the spice trade and the Chinese trade instead.

The son of Koxinga, Zhen Jing would further attack Manila in 1680’s due to Taiwan being attacked by the Qing and they need a new land for their base at this point the Dutch and their allies which would also suppress the revolt of Maniago, Almazan and Malong in Saludong themselves in order for them to make their power transfer stronger, however, Manila was lost temporarily due to ZhengJing’s attack, and the Spanish retain Ybalon and Kumintang, this was a feat or accomplishment and embarrassment of the Spanish caused by the Dutch.

On the same time the Spanish would sue peace with the Dutch and reacquire the lands of Mariveles as a launching pad to regain Manila.

The loss of Saludong and Sulawesi to the Spanish was an embarrassment to the Spanish.

Meanwhile the Pagans in Saludong are praising the god Apo Laki in the liberation of the land.

The Spanish now are wallowing in losing against the Dutch of the lands that they occupy in Saludong and later their loss of Manila and they would recover Manila in 1690 after they execute Zheng Jing and expelled the Chinese Population in Manila and Formosa was taken back by the Dutch with the help of the Qing Empire who temporarily conquered the Island of Formosa for them, the Dutch would have solidified their monopoly in trade with Japan by this time.

In the Philippines, the Visayans and Christians in Mindanao would see the Spanish as their saviors against the Muslims since the Spanish have given their best protection against the Muslims from the South due to their fortresses, which would have been destroyed if the Spanish focused on battling the rebels and the Dutch collaborators in the North.

Note
The Spanish loses Northern Luzon to the Dutch, Ternate stays Spanish.

Verse 3

Negotiations for the marriage began during the reign of King Charles I, were renewed immediately after the Restoration, and on 23 June 1661, despite Spanish opposition, the marriage contract was signed. England secured Tangier (in North Africa) and the Seven Islands of Bombay (in India), trading privileges in Brazil and the East Indies, religious and commercial freedom in Portugal, and two million Portuguese crowns (about £300,000). In return Portugal obtained British military and naval support (which would prove to be decisive) in her fight against Spain and liberty of worship for Catherine. She arrived at Portsmouth on the evening of 13–14 May 1662 but was not visited there by Charles until 20 May. The following day the couple were married at Portsmouth in two ceremonies – a Catholic one conducted in secret, followed by a public Anglican service at the chapel of Domus Dei.

On 30 September 1662 the married couple entered London as part of a large procession, which included the Portuguese delegation and many members of the court. There were also minstrels and musicians, among them ten playing shawms and twelve playing Portuguese bagpipes, those being the new Queen’s favourite instruments. The procession continued over a large bridge, especially designed and built for the occasion, which led into the palace where Henrietta Maria, the Queen Mother waited, along with the British court and nobility. This was followed by feasting and firework displays.

Catherine of Braganza gave birth to twins on November 2, 1663, named James and Catherine which would reinforce the alliance between Britain and the Portugal.

James would be raised Anglican while Catherine is to be raised as a Catholic which was agreed by the couple.
