Japanese Indo China-> post WW1

Had this Question while reading the Franco-Prussian War II thread

WWI has ended, In Europe the Central Powers of Germany, AH and GB, are victorious

In Asia Japan successfully invaded Indochina, and kept it in the Peace.

Japan now has an Empire.

?How does Japan Maintain it? ?What effect does this have on Japan internally? ?Effects on China? ?Effects Internationally?

?anyone else?
I think Japan will still go into China in the late 30's They will have a few viet Officers, but less than the number of Korean ones.
[?How will the Korean and Viet Officers relate to each other?]
Along with several divisions of Indochinese troops.
An Attack from both the South and the North, ?How would that effect the war?

But I was more interested in How having Koreans, Chinese, and Viet/Khmer, running around Japan, in the 20's/30's effects Japans Racism.
As well as the affect of needing to garrison Indochina on the Navy/Army rivalry, and the rise of the Militants.
Etc...........

It's hard to say. I think we need to work out who runs it, the Army or the Navy.

That said, it's not immediately clear to me that Indochina would be enough to prevent the rise of militarism.
