That Japan doesn't decide it's their destiny to make all of Asia and the Pacific their bitch. Instead they're perfectly happy to sit on what they have already gained by the 30s. Pacific possessions, Formosa, Korea, and Manchuria.

How long can they keep what they already have? How does this impact the fighting between Chiang and Mao in China? Really just any speculation on the future developments for Asia by this forum's experts would be pretty cool to see.
