Be fair all Japan has to do is add 1 propeller blade to every single fighter, weld their ships together, and have ships and planes from the future for their no back up plan to work.

Sounds oddly like the various daft ideas Robdab (and his various sockpuppets) gibbered mindlessly about on this forum (and a number of others) back in '08 (see here and here and here)... all of which were pretty soundly demolished.

OOooo Robodab! His name & fame spread far and wide thru cyber space :D

It does occur to me he may hear his name & show up. does anyone have the incantation with which we might close the portal & turn him away? :(

If the DEA surrenders in June then maybe the Japanese can use the storehouses of exotic pharmaceuticals to fund the war effort...

It is much easier to land in Hanauma Bay and Waimanalo Beach than in Guam. So Yamashita lands 7,000 troops per day there for 5 days, which with overwhelming naval artillery and air support blocking the counter attacks and strafing American field artillery advance relentlessly towards PH and the crucial positions taken by the paratroopers throughout Oahu.

Completely isolated from the other islands, without hope of receiving help from the mainland and under continuous bombing, shelling and attack by an ever increasing number of airborne and landing troops, who are now using captured American field artillery and without ships or planes and with thousands of dying wounded, American morale wanes rapidly during the 5th day, when burning PH is completely surrounded by Japanese forces and left without water. The Americans have no choice but to surrender PH. The other islands fall in rapid succesion. The Japanese had 12,000 casualties (5,000 dead) taking Hawaii.

The Japanese now have the whole population of Hawaii hostage, enormous fuel reserves and dozens of warships and hundreds of planes to repair or salvage. All the American and British possessions west of Hawaii are completely isolated and vulnerable.

After taking Hawaii, the Japanese concentrate all their might on Malaya, which falls in February and then Ceylon which falls in April. The Philippines fall in May and the DEA surrenders in June. The Japanese also occupy New Zealand, Darwin, Perth & Tasmania in July. The fall of Ceylon excludes British shipping from India and Burma, resulting in their independence and in China's isolation.
