Another thought regarding Scotland, James IV was born in 1473, and originally he was going to marry a daughter of Edward IV of England, but that fell through. He eventually married Margaret Tudor as part of the Treaty of Perpetual Peace. What I'm wondering is, if James IV was to marry before then, who were the potential brides he could choose? My ultimate aim is for James IV to have a son who is of an age with Margaret Tudor, for them to marry around 1504.

Could Henry VII be willing to allow one of his wife's sisters to marry James IV?
