James III & VIII

If James II were to leave a son that was raised as a Protestant, it might lead to the Stuarts keeping their throne longer than OTL. This James III & VIII would likely be the choice of Parliament to suceed James II & VII if/once he pursues the policies that lead to his overthrow.

If the Stuart stay on the throne, Franco-British relations might not drop like they did with William III OTL. All will depend on how James III and Louis XIV go along of course and of how James III sees the Sun King's policies.

James II might not even be deposed, as Parliament, while disgusted with his policies, was accepting them as they hoped his Protestant daughter would become his successor. It only changed when Mary of Modena gave birth to a boy.

Actually, with a surviving boy from Anne Hyde, James II might not even marry again. His union with Mary of Modena was planned by the French king and the Pope exactly in order to ensure a Catholic succession in England. With a clear Protestant successor to James II this plan simply wouldn't work.
