So, the glorious revolution of 1688 helped change the course of British history for years to come, it replaced James ii with his daughter Mary ii and her husband William iii and then led to the act of succession etc
My question is this, say James ii and his wife Mary of Modena die in 1687, through whatever means, Mary is now queen. But what else changes? I don’t think that William of orange could pull the whole make me joint ruler or I’m returning home crap, so he remains prince consort or king consort or whatever, how does this Influence the nine years war without a Jacobite pretender in existence and how are crown and parliamrnT relations going to develop?
