Ivaylo succeeds

In the late 13th century a rebel leader named Ivaylo succeeded where other peasant revolts had not in toppling a monarchy and setting up a non royal dynasty.

He was opposed by the Mongols, Bulgarian nobility, and the Byzantines.

What if his movement had succeeded?

Would it have inspired similar peasant revolts in southern and Eastern Europe?

Could Ivaylo or his dynasty have destroyed or conquered Byzantium?

Thoughts?
