I know the region quite well, it's my seaside destination since childhood. There're no easy landings, any beach can be put under fire from mountains, at least in theory. Such an attack could however work, to a considerable cost (mch more than Dragoon). The obvious target would be the Ponente (west) coast of Liguria, around Savona, in whose province are the lowest passes in the region across the Apennine and Alps (ranges that meet at Cadibona pass, technically). Savona was heavily difended by germans and Fascist Republicans (my thesis dissertation was about Resistance in that zone, so I have some information); up to about August 144 when the San Marco Fascist division was called back from training in germany, the rest of the local coast was less well defended. An attack frpm Alassio to Finale Ligure maybe can do the trick, th problem would be blocking any reinforcement forom the flanks by destroying the tunnels and railway viaducts, which may be made by round the clock bombingor with the Resistance's help (less likely since there most were "reds" and thus scarcely trusted by Angloamericans).
