This explores a possibility of a slip if Casimir III has grandsons with his daughter, Kunigunde, Margravine of Brandenburg, this is a Spin off of my Silesian Poland TL.
Elizabeth I of Poland
Chapter 1
On 1350, Casimir III was happy that his daughter gave birth to a son – named Ludwig, he is the heir to Bavaria, Brandenburg and claimant to Pomerania so he decided not to make an agreement with Louis of Hungary, having him his heir if he has no male issues and decided never to remarry, on 1351, his daughter, Elizabeth dies of childbirth along with her newborn son, Casimir[1] leaving behind Boguslaw and his daughter, Elisabeth, he had Elisabeth of Pomerania promised to Louis I of Hungary who was recently widowed after the death of Margaret of Bohemia and for that reason he is sent to Casimir III for fostering.
On 1360, Casimir III dies due to a disease and Elisabeth of Pomerania, is chosen by the nobles as the King of Poland and not her Brandenburgian Wittelsbach cousins, Ludwig and Rupert the sons of Louis of Brandenburg and Kunigunde of Poland- or their father Ludwig of Brandenburg who were hand picked by Casimir III, she was chosen to avoid the German influence in the Polish court and also had her betrothal to Louis of Hungary is broken to avoid a union with Hungary and she is crowned as Elisabeth I of Poland.
She has many suitors to her hand – and they are
-Wladyslaw the White, Duke of Kuyavia, needs dispensation.
-Jogaila, the son of the Grand Duke of Lithuania, he is currently 10 years old, his father, Algirdas is a pagan and his mother, Uliana is orthodox he is her cousin via Euphemia of Kuyavia – if she marries him it will cause the Christianization of Lithuania, needs dispensation.
-Siemowit of Plock, the heir to the Duchy of Mazovia, a distant cousin, their common ancestor is Konrad of Mazovia, needs dispensation.
-Jobst, Margarviate of Moravia, his grandfather is the AntiKing of Poland during the heir of her Great Grandfather, Wladyslaw the Elbowhigh.
-Wladyslaw Opolczyk, her cousin via Kunigunde of Kuyavia, he is her cousin and the heir to the Duchy of Opole, needs dispensation.
-Rupert of Legnica, the heir to Legnica, a distant cousin, needs dispensation.
The Polish nobles wanted to be sure of the marriage, because it will determine the future of the Polish Crown, the nobles are deciding who to choose as her husband, they want a native prince, someone from the Polish Duchies, namely, Kuyavia, Silesia and Mazovia, the Polish nobles wanted to be sure who she marries and should be the one who will unite the Corona Regni Polaniae.
Note:
In this TL, there is no Sigismund of Luxembourg and the line of Luxembourgs go totally extinct in female and male lines after the death of Jobst of Moravia.
