Isaac's Empire: The (sharply) abridged version

Had a bit of a thought to get my writing juices flowing again. In short, I wondered about doing a series of posts for every Emperor throughout the IE story, from 1057 right up to 1973, both 2.0, 1.0 and vague ideas as yet unwritten, summarising their reign in three sentences or less. Obviously this would contain spoilers for readers of both TLs, but the very vague nature of this absolute skeleton TL should minimise this.

Would people be interested in such a thing?

Definitely. Quite often I find timelines like yours, which are extremely good, but just too long for me to commit myself to reading. An abridged version would be very interesting.

I've begun the first part of the abridging. Will probably do it dynasty by dynasty: I'm re-reading each individual reign, then distilling it down firstly to a paragraph, then just a few sentences.

Like others have said previously, I fully agree with that proposal. It will be nice to have a summary for those who have trouble remembering past updates and at the same time it will be a taste of things to come for Emperor that haven't yet been intrdoduced.

None: I'm well and truly stuck with writer's block for now.

I am however reading a lot about Byzantium atm, which has given me a number of ideas for the future of the TL, particularly as to how "democratic" politics eventually emerge. But for the 1335-1350 period, I'm thoroughly stuck, unfortunately.
