Isaac's Empire + Lands of Red and Gold =>??????=> Profit!!! (aka "LET'S DO THIS !!!")

Combine the world of "Isaac's Empire"'s world of our very own Basil Georgie's creation with the world of "Lands of Red and Gold" TL by the resident's Ozzian diamond and let's enjoy the result !! :D:D:D:D

Isaac's Empire-verse and Lands of Red and Gold-verse :D

For a brief stimulus to this thread, I will thereby mention the fact those who would be the first Eurasians to encouter the Aururians will be the Bahrainis, yes. They will be then bringing the hardy Aururian crops and diseases to the Old World, first and foremostly to the Indian Ocean trading network, in which middle east is an integral part of.

Discuss it wildly :D:D:D

Sounds great for Bahrain (I've followed LoRaG pretty much since joining). The Middle East (once it gets over the new diseases) is going to have a nice little population boom. That'll probably spread pretty fast into Anatolia and Central Asia...

Most likely it'll be. All the Rhomanians, Persians, Bahrainis, Omanis, even Ifriqians and Iberians will be all experiencing population boom thanks to Aururian crops. For the Rhomanians, it'll be the chance to play the post-plagues' population boom into Christian favor. I would even think it's very probable that they will even colonize even some more of the Arabia, for I foresee a Rhomanian Ha'il out of this....

And Persia will be stronger, without doubt

I'm rather surprised with the apparently minimal interest for this thread. Where did I go wrong, wonder.... :(

Did BG not see it ?

BG did see it. Possibly it is because my timeline is too mediocre and cliche for the real giants of AH.com to be interested. :p

I really must read Lands of Red and Gold though. It looks absolutely fascinating, from the bits I've seen.

I may check the dates, but the date of the Bahraini discovery would be after the Blue Sleep and Manitja outbreaks. If yes, the first countries to be struck would be the Gulf republics and Persia, with Marnitja slowly creeping towards Rhomania itself. It would hit VERY hard, as the Persia-Balkans axis is the center of civilization at this time ITTL. This may give breathing space for both Russia and Germany in the small scale. Of course, later, Rhomania would be exploding with people, and may have to populate some other places...

On another note, Bahrainis would first contact the Atjuntja - they are going to be a little creeped out...

I would think that, before Middle East, the diseases would be striking India first, and maybe Rhomanian Africa also. And also, from Rhomania I think it'll be quite fast to spread to the whole Mediterranean region.

Ah, the Atjuntja.... what were they about again ?

Your TL isn't mediocre Basileus Giorgios, how many TL's have Steampunk Romans, Mongol Persians , Uber-germans, Uber-Chinese, Uber-vikings, Uber Portugese, A Democratic Gulf, A Basque Colonial Empire, and a Surviving Aztec Empire, all while still having a British world Empire? I rest my case.
