Is this possible?

I was just playing Hearts of Iron, and I was wondering if the way everything played out is actually plausible. Is it possible and plausible for Turkey to make an alliance with Greece in the '30s and subsequently invade Bulgaria, which as some of you may know, was guarranteed by both the Soviets and the Germans?

Further, is it possible for the Soviets and Germans to end up on opposite sides eventually in this war? Cause that's the only thing that saved me.

Well, at first glance Turkey and Greece being allied in that time period absent a foreign invasion of them both seems pretty ASB to me.

Guys

Never actually played the game but reading an interesting AAR [After action Report] from a game a friend is posting elsewhere. A while back this led to reading another one linked in.

The player of that decided to take a standard game playing Britain in 1944. He found it so inaccurate, in terms of not representing the units Britain had at the time that he decided to invade Sweden. [Taking it from this that the game is produced there]

The following events were hysterical. Having conqerored Sweden he piles into Germany from the north. Over the next few years he takes over the world [literally], including bribing several nations into accepting British rule.

Very funny but also making clear that some extremely ASB things can happen.;)
