Is there any way Sweden not only be able to keep, but possibly even expand its colony of New Sweden much longer in our timeline? At least all the way until the 19th or 20th Century.

With a POD after its founding? Not unless the British decide they like the idea of a local ikea to supply their colonies.

Having a peak population of 368 people. For comparison, around that time:

-New France had a little under 3,000 people
-New Neatherland had between 2,000 and 3,500 people
-Massachusetts alone had more than 14,000 and all of England's North American colonies had about 50,000 settlers

Sweden wasn't even a second rate colonizer, I'm not even sure if it could even be termed a third rate colonizer.
