Iranian Bahrain 1971

With a Foreign Policy victory like reclaiming Bahrain, might the Pahlavi regime last longer?

The Shah died in 1980. Maybe his son turns out to be a liberalizer or a different revolution occurs with the Shah's death.

I don't think so. Foreign policy was not their problem. Their problem was domestic policy and how they were able to make everyone their enemy for various reasons.

With a Bahraini oil windfall, how might that affect domestic politics?

If the Imperial regime lasts another year, how might the death of the Shah affect things?
