Iran and Iraq use CW on each other's oil facilities

What effect would Iran and Iraq using chemical weapons on each other's oil facilities during the Iran-Iraq war have - the individual wells are probably too numerous to be a worthwhile target but oil loading and pumping facilities would be more attractive affecting the flow from hundred of well.

Their targetting/delivering is probably going to be a problem.
I've read that for example drilling platforms are a bad target for artilleryshells, as there's just so many holes in the construction, as these things are built like a sieve.

Also, what if they accidentally hit an American Navy ship escorting some oiltankers? If their systems detect anything close to NBC-weapons you could argue they're under a WMD attack...

Aren't they better off using their mustardshells etc to kill each other's poorly protected infantry? It'll be less conspicuous too.

Iraq had troubles hitting Iranain facilities when they switched to southern ones (Larak) and had a lot of troubles with Kharq as it was. In order to do serious damage you have to really dump a lot of stuff there and IrAF was more or less restricted to hit-and-run (often to Saudi airbases) attacks.
