Interesting POD idea for Alexios I

Would the Christian Firouz let Bohemond into Antioch when word got out that Al was on his way?

re: Rian's question. There is a good chance the siege of Antioch's final stages would have gone differently if the combatants believed Alexios to be on his way at the head of the Roman field army (it could even encourage each side to force the issue sooner than OTL with a battle).

So would you guys say its "likely" Alexios would have regained Antioch if he would have decided not to stop at Philomelion or is it it ASB? I really want to do a TL with an Alexios I POD and this idea was one my finalists alongside Alexios deciding NOT to risk a field battle with the Normans at Dyrrakhion in 1081. Considering the chaos in Anatolia and Cilicia in the wake of the crusaders' advance on Antioch, is it really likely that the Turks could have mustered a force to stop Alexios from even reaching Antioch? (it seems as though Roman armies after him made it there in one piece under John II).

Help would be much appreciated, as I had a TL going on my laptop where John II is able to regain Ikonion by the end of his reign and leaves the Empire to his eldest surviving son Issac instead of Manuel!
