Interest in a New Courland TL?

Hey, guys. I've been inactive for quite a while, but I've had an idea bouncing around in my head for a bit now and I was wondering if the community would be interested in it. Basically, the Couronian colony established on Tobago in 1654 succeeds. The POD would be the Dutch colonizing ship being destroyed in a storm, hampering Dutch colonial efforts and eventually paving the way for the recognition of Couronian authority over Tobago. While Courland will be slightly wealthier than IOTL due to a successful plantation colony, and may indeed establish some smaller settlements on Trinidad as they later tried to IOTL, they will be annexed by Russia as it happened, meaning that the colonies of Courland will be taken over by Russian administrators. And that's when things get interesting.

So, you guys interested?

I would be very interested in a TL based on this. The Curonian colonies have alsways been one of my favorite strange historical tidbits.

At least in the Caribbean! Not sure about Africa yet though.
Courland did also hold St. James Island near the mouth of the Gambia River for a time. That could be the start of a larger colony.

Oh, I know. But I'm not yet sure I'll be able to preserve Jacob Fort, as it's in a bit of a different situation. However, I agree, it could definitely be the start of a bigger colony, and I'll think on it. The basic setup, though, is that Couronian and then Russian Tobago and possibly Trinidad is a thing.

I would be interested, I've always been in interested in the colonization attempts by smaller nations like Scotland, Tuscany, and the Knights.
