Intercontinental Israel (Challenge game)

How about a Jewish state that incorporates not one, but several, preferably all, of the proposed homelands or territories for the Jews at various points in history.

The list includes (at least)

- Some proportion of Palestine region (i.e. our Israel)
- The Jewish oblast in the USSR (perhaps this only joins the rest of Israel after the USSR collapses?)
- Uganda
- Madagascar
- British Guyana
- Some significant portion of Alaska
- Some significant portion of Manchuria and/or Shanghai

The challenge, come up with a timeline to unify them as bone fide Jewish state, after 1900. The winner is the person with the highest score

Your score is calculated as:

+1 for each year after 1900 your PoD is (e.g. 1945 PoD = 45 points)

+10 for each territory on the above list that is part of Israel by 2009

+10 (or +20 see note at end of this paragraph) for each additional significant plausible territories that are not on the last that you add that is part of Israel by 2009 - if the territory is in Australasia, S. America or Europe, get +20 per territory instead of +10

-50 for any territories that succeed, split off, etc.

+100 If Albert Einstein is President at some point, and a revered President as of 2009

+100 if Israel is Communist as of 2009 (in the Marxist-Leninist sense) and has been a stable communist state for some time

+100 if Israel is a member of the Commonwealth (or British Empire if surviving), and allied to the UK, as of 2009

+100 if no Holocaust in this TL

-10,000 if nuclear war (except Hiroshima/Nagasaki in 1945)

-10,000 if ASB, zombies, UFOs etc.

-10,000 if your Israel (as of 2009) does not include at least 3 distinct non-contiguous territories in at least 2 different continents

At the end of your TL, you can post your calculated score - if I feel you need points adjusted I will post why, and your adjustment.

Yeah; any of those locations could have been/was established as a Jewish state. Multiple of them together, though? No way. If anything, there would be multiple Jewish states propped up by whoever (e.g., the British Dominion of Israel, the American Sitka Settlement Zone, the Soviet Autonomous Oblast, etc).

Huh, that's actually a pretty cool idea.

Maybe you could have those states be independantly created and then unite as a Jewish Federation of some kind after the USSR collapses?
