Info on early colonization of North America

The titles basically says it all. I'm looking for some detailed accounts on what happened during the early years of the colonization of America. I'm particularly interested in what life looked like for an early colonizer and the relations between natives and the colonizers. My Google searches didn't help me much so now I'm wondering if anyone can point me to some relevant information available on the internet.

Thanks in advance.

All that was very different between the Spanish, French, British, and Dutch... do you want to know about all of them, or just the British colonies?

Yea, can you narrow it down a little bit? Colonial-native relations is something that has filled hundreds of history books. Is there a region or country or time period you're specifically looking at and maybe we can help?

Sorry for not being specific enough. I'm looking for very early colonization where the colonizers were in small number and had to adapt to a new environment and its inhabitants. The first colonies of England like that of Jamestown and the colonies that followed would be fine but if there's anything you think is great but that doesn't fall into this category that's fine as well.

It's a secondary/tertiary account, but Mann's 1493 discusses what life was like for the settlers of Jamestown and their relationship with the Native Americans.
