Info on Austrian Imperial Army pre-1867

OK this might not be the right place to post this and if it is please tell me. I was doing some research about the Austrian Army and I can't seem to find any real info about it between the end of the Napoleonic wars and the Austro-Hungarian compromise of 1867. Can anyone tell me how the army was organized (Military districts/ Corps areas) the various ethnic composition and who was stationed where. Like would Hungarian Regiments be placed in Hungary or say Bohemia. Or if someone can recomend a book in this subject that would be great too.

The only books I can find upon the subject are Radetzky: Imperial Victor and Military Genius and From Habsburg Neo-Absolutism to the Compromise, 1849-1867. The Army does also seem to have had garrisons in Germany, as Archduke Wilhelm Franz was Governor of the Federal Fortress of Mainz, but composition of the garrisons was split between the member states. The German Wikipedia has an article upon the German Federal Fortresses - http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundesfestung

Austria (Vol 2, Chap X) by Peter Evan Turnball , 1840, covers the Austrian Army, size, organisation etc. I have found this author reasonably objective and reliable (which many Englishmen writing about Austria at that period were not)

Love his comments about the Hungarian soldiers. Apparently one regiment had 37 murders in 18 months! I get the feeling that east of Vienna it was still the Middle Ages in a lot of ways.

Probably some knifings during leave... we have very rich literature about the rural low classes at that time, sometimes scarier than a horror movie or thriller. And that was real.
