Indian Hindu/Sikh/Muslim state in South America

Working Immigration of Indians of all fates started during the 19th century, Guyana, Suriname have great population of Indians. What if a 20th century state or emerges with an Hindu/Sikh/Muslim identity ?

I mean, Guyana and Suriname are pretty close as is. however, neither state is all that influential and Suriname was Dutch until the 70s, so I doubt much would change geopolitically.

The race relations would probably still be pretty bad, with Indian vs. Black political conflict in various Indo-Black Caribbean states and in SA.

Yes, having a plurality Asian state is pretty easy.
Going off Asian Caribbean people I've met though and what Indians have to say about them.... they seem to have lost touch with their routes quite heavily.
I'd love to read about who the people shipped over to the Caribbean were and how this came to be but I fear it is really niche history, I don't think we have any Caribbean experts here.
