Independent Tyrol/the 27th canton

What if, after WWI, Tyrol declares independce, and Vorarlberg joins Switzerland, as per below?

Well, for one thing, this isn't much of a PoD. You have to have some valid reason as to why this happened ot you might as well be saying "What if Hitler has willed with a deep appreciation of the value of human life in Spetermber 1939". There are huge obstacles to overcome here. I don't think there was a serious Tirolean seperatist movement, and the Italians are going to march into the south anyways. And you have to change Swiss internal politics, given that the Swiss turned down Vorarlberg's request OTL (it would have unbalances the Swiss political scene and been questionably neutral).

Well, perhaps Tyrol is a communist state or in some other way incompatible with Austria, and Vorarlberg is stranded and unviable as being Austrian or independent. Honestly, I just saw a map of the Tyrol Euroreigon and visualised it as a country. Didn't know that. :)
