I 'm curently thinking of rewritting an old TL, so I thought some discussion before that would be useful.
So, do you think that a more indepedent Septinsular Republic is possible if the locals decide to aside with Britain in 1807, instead of accepting the secret articles of the Tislit treaty? By "more indepedent" I mean that there could be some degree of foreign (British or joint of the Holy Alliance) influence, but not to the degree of the United States of the Ionian Islands .
Do you think the Greek War of Independence would be much different in this TL? Could the Septinsular Republic intervene?
What would be the stance of Austria in that case?
