I 'm curently thinking of rewritting an old TL, so I thought some discussion before that would be useful.

So, do you think that a more indepedent Septinsular Republic is possible if the locals decide to aside with Britain in 1807, instead of accepting the secret articles of the Tislit treaty? By "more indepedent" I mean that there could be some degree of foreign (British or joint of the Holy Alliance) influence, but not to the degree of the United States of the Ionian Islands .

Do you think the Greek War of Independence would be much different in this TL? Could the Septinsular Republic intervene?
What would be the stance of Austria in that case?

Thanks in advance!
