In the event of a succesful Napoleonic Invasion of Russia: Results?

Fatal Wit

In case the title doesn't make it obvious- assuming the scenario that Napoleons invasion of Russia prior to the war of the 6th Coalition was succesful(for simplicities sake, assume a decisive victory at Borodino rather then the pyrrhic one of OTL), what treaty terms would likely be agreed upon? Would Napoleon desire to rip chunks of of Russia's western frontiers to give to Sweden, Poland and the Ottomans? Would he pursue more moderate terms? Or would he go all the way and attempt to overthrow the Tsar and install a satellite monarch?

Furthermore, would Britian likely accept the inevitable and come to terms with the French following so decisive victory, or would they continue to actively resist them indefinitely?

I read somewhere that there were plans, but forgot the details. I think Davout was to be something...

Well, that would depend on whether he wanted Russia as a long-term partner in the continental system, or someone to watch for inevitable rematch.

It's an interesting topic, it rarely get talked about. I'd love to hear some details if anyone knows.

From what i remember from a book i was reading a while back - he didn't want to actually overthrow the Tsar just get him to accept the blockade.

Although after this i can imagin he might take chunks of Russia for Poland.

Didn't he want to set Davout up as something do to with the Ukraine GW?

It is a very interesting topic.
