Important persons that never were

like the famous nubian imam
M'aa Tinlu Za, who was a very dedicated imam, but after a journey to the holy places in 1467 (AD) acknowledged the inflexibility of islam that was so much fixated on arabic and a literal interpretation of the quoran.
He translated the words of the propht into wastern african languages, using a new script.
thus he boosted african scientific abilities and individualism. He is regarded as one of the creators of the african status as the one of worlds best devoloped regions

It is only his 'great feat' if inflexibility and lack of individualism are bad things.

1- If, hypothetically, a person has knowledge which is true, inflexibly sticking to it will be a benefit.

2- Unless you are going to irrationally claim it is self evident, how is lack of individualism a bad thing?
