Imperator - The emperor

Prologue: The conspiracy
Part 1: Introduction
Not much has been found on the great secrets behind the attempted murder of Gaius Iulius Caesar: the only thing we knew until a few weeks ago were the members fo this great conspiracy, Marcus Iunius Brutus and Gaius Cassius Longinus, nothing more.
It has been recently discovered an ancient parchment which shows that the conspiracy was much bigger and much ambitious than what we think: there were some of Caesar's most trusted generals behind the attempted murder.
In this book I'm going to tell you the situation of the Roman Empire during the period of Caesar's dictatorship (708 AVC - 685 AVC, AVC stands for "Ab urbe condita", from the foundation of Rome: 753 BC.).
At the start of the 2nd year of Caesar's reign, the Romans controlled the entire Mediterrean coast and was finally in a period of prosperity and peace after half a century of civil wars.
The provinces in this year were:
Italia (Italy, cities: Roma, Neapolis, Tarentum, Arretium)
Gallia Cisalpina (Northern Italy: Aquileia, Mediolanum, Ariminum)
Gallia (France: Lutetia, Burdigala, Massilia)
Hispania (Spain: Emporiae, Saguntum, Carthago Nova, Toletum, Gadira)
Mauritania (Morocco, Algeria: Tingis, Hippo Regius)
Africa (Tunisia, Libia: Carthago, Thapsus, Leptis Magna)
Cyrenaica (Eastern Libia: Cyrene)
Syria (Siria: Antiochia)
Asia (Western Turkey: Pergamum, Smyrna)
Macedonia (Northern Greece: Thessalonika, Pella, Byzantium)
Achaia (Greece: Athenae, Corinthus)
Epirus (Albania: Corkyra, Apollonia)
Dalmatia (Croatia: Salona, Aspalathos, Scodra)
Sicilia (Syracusae, Panormus, Messina)
Sardinia et Corsica (Caralis, Nora)
The Empire had recovered some losses brought by the bloody civil wars and the temporary peace with the Parthians had brought some relief to the citizens. The economy was finally reviving and the roman merchants were again traveling to far away lands such as Sera Maior (China). The Empire was experiencing a long awaited period of peace. But Caesar had other plans in mind: he wanted to prepare an expedition to the east, to conquer teach the Parthian Empire a lesson after Crassus' great defeat at Carrhae (modern day Siria) in 700 AVC.
Because of this one of his closest friends, Marcus Antonius, was preparing a conspiracy to stop him and to keep the Empire in peace for a few more years.
Marcus Antonius tried to persuade Caesar to avoid starting new wars so fast several times, but the Imperator (Caesar) had in mind that even if he would not declare war against the Parthians, they would've attacked in a year or two.
There were lots of senators and members of the aristocracy who weren't happy of the new ruler that took them away from the government and proclamed himself Dictator and Imperator. In this group of senators there was Marcus Iunius Brutus (some say he was Caesar's son), a friend of Caesar but even a great defender of the Republic and the Senate. He decided to join Marcus Antonius and called other senators to help him.
Soon the conspiracy involved a great number of people (from generals to senators, from governors to merchants).
Caesar wasn't aware of the great danger that was behind him.
