Impact of a narrow Gore victory

Because that was just a bunch of pundits and talking heads, I don't think after the fact you should allow rhetoric to overpower the facts once they are in.

I actually don't watch pundits or talking heads, neither did I reference them at all in my post.

And I don't know which of them you wanted to win yourself, but that might be a factor too.

No it's not.

and you say "well to heck with logic,

Nope, I never said that either and you know it.

Sorry to ignore your pollsters, I did my best to forget their foolish twaddle once the election was done. And know that in terms of many other offices than the President, the ones they were not talking about, they had the last laugh.

They are not my pollsters, Gallup is an independent polling agency and not "foolish twaddle." Regardless, if Clinton could lose to the most defeatable candidate in US history then I don't think she could beat Romney. My point was that even for Obama it was an uphill climb. He certainly could have lost if he ran an inferior campaign, like the kind that HRC ran in 2016 actually. So she probably would have lost.

Why has this thread turned into a talk about Hillary??? This was about if Gore won in 2000 by the skin of his teeth during a recount. Hillary is still a Senator as in OTL in the early 2000's.
