I'm Creating an Alt-History EUIV: M&T Scenario

The Scenario PoD is that Alexios Philanthropenos does not betray Andronikos II and they are able to hold on to the opposite shore of the Bosporus until 1356. Greece goes more or less as OTL. Instead of a half century of misfortune of OTL they get some stability. So the Romans are a bit better off than OTL, but is more than off set by the fact that they hold a larger land border with the Ottoman Turk.

The Ottomans in turn focus towards conquering the other Turkish Beyliks and by 1356 hold most of Western Anatolia outside of Roman controlled areas and the Med coast.

This is the map I was inspired by. My logic is that 1265 is less than a hundred years before game start(in 1356). I'm sure that at if the Palaiologos dynasty were strong enough(naturally a human player would be) they'd at least retake those rough borders.
