Igbo expelled after the Nigerian civil war

Could the Igbos be expelled following the Nigerian civil war through a mix of starvation and forced expulsions

What groups would be most likely to be resettled in formerly Igbo oil rich territory

What would be the impact on Nigerian politics

Would the expelled Igbos form groups like Rwandan Patriotic Front

Would they be allowed to return with the arrival of democracy

What would be the impact on the Cameroon

ASB, I don’t see how you replace 30 million people out of the country especially around an era where news spreads very fast. The UN would definetly not allow it and Nigeria would be quickly sanctioned and punished militarily.

There were 8 million igbo in 1967

Given UN did allow 2 million to be starved to death during the conflict and various warcrimes when Nigeria reconquered Biafra why would they intervene especially when Nigeria was backed by both Britain and the Soviet Union

Where would they send them? Equatorial Guinea? It might cause some interesting events . . .

Thomas Hardy said:
That . . . not be told of my death,
Or made to grieve on account of me,
And that I not be buried in consecrated ground,
And that no sexton be asked to toll the bell,
And that nobody is wished to see my dead body,
And that no mourners walk behind me at my funeral,
And that no man remember me,
To this I put my name.
