Well depend on The country and your sex, a woman Is always greeted With, at least, one kiss, between men The Kiss Is reserved to closer Friends and family,

i believe it would be a small bow or curtsy. IIRC that is what it was for a long time before handshakes because handshakes were seen as more egalitarian.
