If the Sasanids succesfully counqered arabia after the rise of islam, would islam survive long?

let's say the sasanids are the only power in the reigion in 633 and control most of the byzantine empire of OTL, and are also pwerful enhauf to controll all the land they have. let's also say they, togeyher with axum, take control of arabia and start opressing islam, killing islamic leaders like muhammad. would islam still stay a living religion, or would the sasanids succesfully shut it down? how long would islam survive in such a scenario, and how much weaker would it be? if it would survive, how would such oppresion effect it?

in such a timeline where the OTL enemies of the sasanids do not exist (byzantine empire, rashidun chalifate ext...), what kind of event could you imagine making the sasanids fall? (or would they just take over the world ;))

For starters, I don't understand how Axum and Persia would end up in an alliance, knowing that the Aksoumite was one of the first ones to accept muslims, secondly the way you put it in I don't see why Islam would appear at all, and if it appears, Does it conquer of arabia or just the hedjaz, cause it changes greatly the balance of power, a hedjaz based Islam with be easily removed by the sassanids, an Arabian Islam on the other hand could severly hurt them, considering that the romans could do the unholy alliance in order to push out their ennemies, and I think personally that one Yarmouk or one Qadissiyah would result in a wanked Islam, but that's not your point.
Assuming that Islam is never a threat, I don't think the persian could have held Syria, palestine and Egypt too long, and it might even result in some sort of crusade, however that doesn't mean the death of the empire, It could potentially survive very very, one of the effects could be a more open china, however the center of gravity remains the middle east, wich will remain a battlefield between Byzantines and Persians for some time.
