If not FDR, who?

I know It may sound crazy, but I think in a world without FDR, Huey Long's more ambitious Social Welfare and Wealth Redistrubution programs will sound a lot more appealing to the American Public as a whole. All the other Democratic Candidates of 1932 were rather flat and colorless. But since I do see a deadlocked convention, Huey maybe able to to be pushed through as a draft by the Delegates, and win it that way.

A Southerner nominated in 1932 is ASB- period. The 2/3 rule works both ways- the South can veto a candidate as crumbs for not being able to nominate one of their own.
