If Mohamed Siad Barre remained in power in Somalia.

Would Somalia be more stable today if Mohamed Siad Barre remained in power?
For barre to stay in power that would mean his regime would have to be more stable, so I guess it would. Still when you mean stay in power did you mean to this day or just longer than otl.

Even if he remains for today, his clan based patronage networks and brutality would likey mean Somalia would be fighting a insurgency or terror network.

I mean as in if he never got overthrown.

The only way I can see Mohamed Siad Barre stay in power without a civil war or an insurgency would be a successful annexation of the Ogaden region
