If Lincoln Had Lived....

Lets say Abraham Lincoln wasn't assassinated, what would the rest of his presidency be like? Like Roosevelt, would the people want him to run for more terms to help with the Reconstruction Era? I'm sure he would've done a helluva better job than Johnson and Grant. Plus, how long do you think he would live for? Considering he was a healthy guy, I would think he'd live well into his 70s or early 80s(that was far past life expectancy back then).

Reconstruction in the South would have been less harsh, and some would argue that it would not have failed.

I don't know if he would have gone on for more terms, you can look at the photographic evidence that being the President was having a physical affect on his well being.
