With his boyish looks and undeniable charisma, the 35th United States President is ranked highly by historians. Many here claimed that not just because of his popularity at the time, but also because of the sympathy of his death is he ranked that highly in the books.

If Kennedy wasn't killed on that faithful day(or during his first term at all), its more than certain he would easily have won the 1964 election, and only then would his presidency be properly ranked.

So lets say Kennedy survived his entire presidency(adkinsons disease notwithstanding), how would the American public, and by proxy, the World view him?

I think his presidency would be seen as average. His second term would marred with controversy, and would knock his popularity down a few notches, but I doubt he would be at George W. Bush levels of disdain. He certainly wouldn't be in the ranks of Washington, Lincoln, and Roosevelt.
