If JFK is not assassinated, who would succeed him as President in 1969?

Assuming JFK wins in 1964 (which I think was highly probable) I'm of the opinion that people would get tired of the Democrats momentarily and vote in the Republicans and then the Republicans would get pushed out in 1976, and a Democrat takes power.

Who will succeed him as President?

if JFK makes his second term alive, despite his Alison illness.
The result would very Different USA as OTL, Because LBJ never was President !
one reason is JFK lack of Political influence in Congress, what make him depended of Souther Democrats.
on question on end of racial segregation kennedy start in 1963, what let to Cvili Right Act & Voting Right Act after His assassination.
but the Bill make only byLBJ Political influence true Congress.

ITTL the Cvili Right Act would never get support like OTL and Souther Democrats fight against it in Congress.
means 1968 USA face more racial conflicts, protest against it by students
also terrorist attacks and assassination on civil right leaders or KKK leaders
While FBI under Hoover, brake every US law to deal with situation.

Lack of social programs introduce by LBJ, is missing or mine down under JFK presidency by Congress.

Vietnam will very different as under LBJ, JFK distrust the situation in Vietnam, also like wise his Generals and there wrong assumption to win this conflict.
it very likely there is not Vietnam War but more as Vietnam conflict were far lower US casualties there.

This video look into that in detail

and 1968 ?
The USA on edge of Civil war about end of racial segregation and Civil Right with rise of Black Panthers
LBJ will not goes for US election because cardiac problems
Robert Kennedy could be killed either OTL or by black Extremist, but change he get elected are low, Why ?
the Kennedy Administration (were he was part of) will be accused of losing Vietnam to Commies, losing the war on poverty, Not solution for racial segregation.

Nixon will Win the Election 1968, but can he defuse this explosive situation ?

I think that Civil Rights and Voting Rights would be passed, albeit a bit later, as it was Johnson's capital like "Let us pass this in memory of JFK, RIP, Jack" that made him pass the bills like he did IOTL.

Assuming Watergate does not happen ITTL, who would be president in 1973 then?
Nixon until 1976. Like OTL if Watergate didn't happen.

Reagan or Ford would probably be the candidate in '76 and with the bad memories of Kennedy's terms and no Watergate I say it's possible for the Republicans to keep the White House at least until 1984. The problem for Reagan is...how does he run against his own party? Basically Reagan needs Ford to be the nominee and needs him to loose.

I doubt Nixon would become president. Even with a huge number of disadvantages, the Democrats came close to winning in 1968 IOTL. I would say that whoever wins the Democratic primaries in 1968 would become President. It would probably be Humphrey, or perhaps even Johnson.
